The Job A young man has just got out of accounting school. He goes on his first interveiw for a job. He waits patiently and then is shown in. Questions are asked by both people, the young man has a feeling that he's doing very good in the interview. Suddenly the interviewer asks him how much one and one is. Without hesitation, he answers two. The interview is over. Over the next few weeks this same question comes up in nearly every interview in one form or another. He always answers with the correct number, and the interview is immediately over. Finally he's getting desperate. He goes to this fine Italian firm for an interview. The interview is going very well, when suddenly the man behind the desk says, "How much is two and two?" The student sits there, he knows the correct answer of course if four. However, each time he's given the correct answer the interview has ended. Considering he's at an Italian firm, he figures why not. He answers, "Anything you want it to be." He's hired on the spot.
